The Roundhouse
Celebrating another successful year with the Roundhouse
Now in its third year, our relationship with the Roundhouse Trust has made a huge impact on the young creatives we support and our people too. Since our last report, we’ve worked with young creatives to deliver a regular ‘coffee break’ engagement series, creativity workshops and one-to-one mentoring, helping creativity thrive.
Roundhouse experiences
Our programme of Roundhouse experiences continued despite lockdown. Workshops became virtual and later hybrid, with some in person and others delivered remotely.
During these sessions our people collaborated with Roundhouse young creatives to help them build skills, confidence and gain new perspectives.
We believe these opportunities help our people to lead, learn and develop skills by thinking about problems and solutions in a more creative way while giving back to the local community.
Roundhouse Accelerator Programme
In support of the Roundhouse’s commitment to helping diverse entrepreneurs, the Roundhouse Accelerator Programme was set up.
Aimed at creative entrepreneurs aged between 18-30, this development opportunity aims to equip entrepreneurs with the skills they need to scale their business.
To contribute to the programme, we developed a series of workshops where volunteers from the firm shared knowledge and experience with young creatives. These sessions enabled them to develop their brand and build relevant and transferable business skills through weekly workshops, mentoring and pitch practice, all working towards a final pitch event. The winner received a £500 donation to their business, BD mentoring for six months and pro bono intellectual property advice.
Really beneficial. It has helped me create a fully-fledged business plan, taught me how to do financials for business, put revenue streams in place, and contacts and networks.
