Clients and markets
Introduction
We are committed to being a leading law firm that thrives because of both being responsible and advising clients on ESG matters. We want to empower our people to engage clients in our Responsible Business programme and to create long-term value for clients by helping them build sustainability into their own businesses.
Clients and Markets Steering Group
In 2023, we updated our governance structures and now have a Steering Group focussed on clients and markets relating to ESG. This group is the driving force behind our commitment to being a commercially thriving and responsibility-driven law firm.
They guide the firm in achieving revenue growth aligned with our internal sustainability goals with a focus on market trends and client needs. Collaborating closely with the Environment Steering Group, Inclusion Board, and Community Steering Group, we ensure coherence between our internal goals and external commitments.
The ESG network
We have an established ESG network, with client-facing representatives from every area of our business. Their role is to help drive increased collaboration on ESG services and engage with clients on all matters relating to our responsible business performance and ESG services.
We deliver ESG-related legal services across all our sectors, ranging from sustainable finance, to energy transition, to ESG-driven deals. We are proud to support clients who are tackling ESG challenges and creating a positive impact through their own businesses.
To find out more about our ESG services and case studies, please visit our website. If you are a client or potential client and would like to find out more about how we can work together on common responsible business values, please get in touch.
ESG is on the agenda of our clients. We have an important role in not only 'walking the walk' but also using our skills and resources to help clients achieve their own sustainability ambitions.

RSGI GreenPrint
Out of 180 law firms, we were one of only 22 to make it onto RSGI's GreenPrint leaderboard. RSGI compared reports and data published by 180 major law firms. The aim was to identify best practices in strategy, targets and reporting, and also confirm which law firms are starting to do what they advise their clients to do on the ESG agenda.
